Jessie’s Party
Today we ventured out to the park to “Jessie’s Party” – I’m not sure on the story, but from what I can gather Jessie has been suffering from some kind of cancer, and when asked what she’d like to “wish” for, she said she wanted a big party in a park, with lots of kids.
She got one.
We went along, with my parents and their friends – who own “Chitty” aka “Brum”…. The men took turns in driving around the park, and taking kids for joy rides. Was lots of fun!
Here are a couple of pics of Grandad driving (with Coop in the front!)

There were also some American Motorcycle Club members there, taking kids for a spin on their bikes – Jessie had a turn -

And Aunty Belinda…

As did Cooper and I! (I quite enjoyed taking Cooper for her first Harley ride, considering her Father rides a Buell, and is crazy about bikes…)

Cooper really enjoyed running around with the kids – she had some cake….

And got her face painted!

Bailey hung out with Nanny and I on the picnic rug…

Eventually things started to wind down, and it was time to take my grubby girls home – Coop was all partied out!

All in all though, it was a lovely day – albeit a little sad, seeing some of the sick children moving around. Made me feel very fortunate to have two healthy little monsters.
